Phoenix Lifestyle Photography: Fitness
Being a commercial photographer in Phoenix can have some real bonuses… one of which is availability to world class shooting locations. Whether it be the wide assortment of mountains and outdoor locations nearby and around the region or unique urban environments there is no shortage of outstanding places to produce photo shoots.
Over the weekend I produced a set fitness themed photographs. I knew in my mind the type of look I was going for location wise and went to work researching and scouting. What was settled on was one of my new favorite places to shoot in the Phoenix Metro area. It’s a sort of spillway/bike path in Scottsdale. Architecturally it has several stainless steel art deco style horse sculptures that seem to act as “fountains” for when they need to drain the nearby golf course ponds. As odd as it sounds it’s pretty awesome.
The location and model worked out great and I was happy to walk away with some portfolio worthy images. I’m really enjoying the options available as a photographer here in Arizona and look forward to a year full of exciting new photo shoots in cool locations such as this.
